Photo Gallery Info

I used Recuva to recover photos that I accidently (permanently) deleted in the recycle bin but can’t open them?

I had used Safehouse software for some private files that I copied from the c drive to a memory stick. Then I deleted the files from my c drive. When I went back in to look at my memory stick only one volume instead of two showed up in Safehouse. I used Recuva to get the photos back, but now it is telling me that Windows Photo Viewer can’t open this picture because either Photo Viewer does not support this file found or you don’t have the latest update to photo viewer. When I went to view the photo I tried to use the fix button and the message I got was Photo Gallery does not support this photo or video. The file may be unsupported, damaged or corrupted.

maybe you should try a better recovery software.
