php gallery manager
In PHOTOBIE- why can’t I clone the image?

I’m using Photobie.
When I try to clone an image in the layer manager, it doesn’t create a new “imaging” layer, it just creates “background” again.

It’s seen here:

That’s what it’s supposed to do:
0: background
1: imaging
2: imaging

I just get:
0: background
1: background
2: background

I’m doing it exactly as the tutorial says.

Does anyone know how to make this work? If you help I will award the ten points. Thank you!

In Photobie, the first layer is called background automatically, so when you clone it keeps whatever name there.

The name doesn’t really determine whether it is a background or not, you can expand the layer manager to change the name. Anyway you do have a cloned layer.

Just in case you want to create a brand new image instead of multiple layers. You can use an option in the layer menu to extract the layer as a new image.
