Php Gallery Cms
I need some help with CMS (Web dev question)?
I need make a custom database at home (running Apache w/ PHP/MYSQL) so I can keep track of characters, places (The general collection of nouns) etc, in the book series I’m working on.
I tried Joomla, but it’s too complicated, I don’t want to actually work for all of this. I tried TangoCMS (Might try it again) but it’s not quite functional enough.
I just need to create a database with four general categories (people, places, things, misc) and toss in a few sub-cats onto those.
Once I reach the actual page of my item I just need a 3 pictures across the top (maybe a single picture linking to an individual gallery) and then information to be placed across the bottom (Just a few paragraphs).
Anyone know of a CMS/Layout/Template that matches close to what I’m looking for?
P.S.
It’s not a lack of ability or talent, I can edit CSS, template, layout, code a significant amount of PHP, and am well versed in SQL databases.
I’m just very very very very very very very lazy.

There may not be any CM’S which meets your requirement exactly. You need the expertise of some professional Web Developer to change CMS setting to meet your requirements.
But i suggest you that you should design a Customized CMS for you. This will meet your requirements and will be really easy to use.
