How can i get this hairstyle?(longcurls)?

my hair is aboyt half way down my back. when i try to curl it the curls are too tight and doesnt look like these photo help. how can i get this style?

Yay! i have been waiting for someone to ask this because i found something that works so well for me because i had the same problem as you! OKAY so
1. first you need to put heat tamer in your hair because it is always good to have i protected!
2.Okay then section off your hair so it looks almost like your wearing it half up half down. Now i have thicker hair then most so I usually have to do small sections.
3. Okay then take a 2 inch barrel curling iron at the highest heat setting. I use a Revlon barrel and i dont see a problem with it at all.
4. When i start to curl I start from the back of my head with the section and work my way forward with about 1 inch sections in the curling iron.
5. CURL AWAY FROM YOUR FACE! very important! I start from the top of my section and work down this is hard to explain but ill try. I clamp the curling iron down and the top of the 1 inch section, wait a couple seconds, then lift the clamp a little slide it down a couple inches but as im doing that im twirling the curling iron so my hair is wrapped around it. I repeat until i get to the end of my hair and twist all the way to the top of the 1 inch section. I usually leave that in for like 6-8 seconds? Sorry if that was confusing!
6. Okay this is the most important part! You need to get a bobby pin as soon as you release that curl (hopefully it looks fantastic) and gently wrap the curl in the way its “formed” around two fingers until you get to your scalp (Please be careful because its really hot!) Then pin it up so it almost looks like you have curlers in.You might have to use more than one. Thats okay! This is important because since you have long hair your hair will want to stretch down and kind of kill the curl. So this way it sets in and cools down in the formation that you want it.
7. Repeat this all over your head! remember curl away from you face! Puh- LEase!
8. Now that all your curls are pinned up (you will look kind of like grandma hee hee) LIGHTLY spray with hairspray. you dont want too much product to weigh your hair down.
9. Once your finished let your hair set for a little longer, maybe 4 minutes?
Starting from the bottom section of your head release all of the bobby pins working your way up your head.
10. Dont run your fingers thru your hair until your all done with the pins. I
11. If your happy with the curliness then I would just “shuush” you hair a bit. You know? take your fingertips at the sides of your hair and shake your fingers a little. That way it doesnt look too sculpted, BUT if you want it more wavey, run your FINGERS thru your hair (not a brush!)
