I want to make a flash slideshow with controls for a header for a website, where can i find a tutorial 4 this?

i would like to make it similar to this

I like the controls on tha site and the pictures are set on a timer. Again, if this was in flash it would help. I am just looking for a tutorial. I have searched the web for about an hour. . . however I haven’t found what I’m looking for
I have Adobe CS4 Flash Professional
I would like there to be controls on this slide show (similar to the link i posted). . . please don’t reply with links to google query’s. . . I have already said I’ve searched for it.

Graphical pre-requisites:
The Center area consists of 11 buttons on top of a rounded rectangle having identical background colors.

Each of the buttons has 3 different frames.

Frame 1: unbolded number
Frame 2: bolded number
Frame 3: bolded number with triangular area

In case the mouse hovers above a button Frame 3 shows.
In case a picture is selected button Frame 2 shows.
In case a button is not selected, Frame 1 shows.

functions/variables
A) variables
you need to have a global variable, which contains an array of filenames for the pictures.
you need to have a second global variable containing the index into the pictures

B) functions/events
for each of the number buttons you need a hover event.
for each of the used buttons (number buttons, +-button, –button) you need a click event

The number HOVER event calls into a function receiving location parameter and index.
The location parameter is used in order to calculate the thumbnail position,
The index parameter is used to select the picture from the text array and to set the global index

The number CLICK event calls into a click function.
This function takes an index as parameter. The index is used to select a picture to show and to select the number button frame 2 to display. The index is also used to set the global variable.

The CLICK event of the -/+ button calls into a click function taking a +1 or -1 as parameter. If the added result (index + paramter) is less than the maximum number of pictures or greater than -1 the click function for the number buttons is called with paramter index + paramter.

On the site you pointed out there are two controls (<-| and |-> which are not used). You could provide an additional CLICK event, which sets the global index to 0 for <-| and to 11 (max picture) for |-> and passes these values to the click function of the number events.
