How to combine XML with JavaScript?

Hi all, I’ve got a big problem trying to combine javascript with xml.

you are mixing two different methods here
the slide-show is Flash so all the effects should be in Flash.
if you have a php or other slide show that uses java-script or HTML to show you can use that java-script effect.

but the Flash slide-show is controlled and displayed totally with Flash scripting (Actionscript)

in your example the photo that enlarged is controlled by javasctipt, the photo itself is a HTML button. the java script controll thr enlargement.

when you see flash movie, even when flash pull photos or movies from “outside” like from XML it is still inside the cube of flash, so if you want to do the effects you need to manipulate the flash itself either by action script or by frames.
the best example will be watching TV,
when you see a movie it comes from outside source – cable or DVD player so you cant do anything with the screen (editing,effects), you have to edit the movie to get the effects.

basically what i am saying, it is possible, if you can edit the flash file.
you can make the photo a button, and then create a movie clip where the photo enlarge.
